Privacy Policy

What We Collect

We collect only the information you voluntarily submit through the reporting form:

• The phone number the spam text was sent from (not your number)
• The content of the spam text message
• The type of service advertised and whether a STOP option was included
• Optional context about when you started receiving texts and what data sources may be involved
• Any optional comments you choose to include

If you upload a screenshot, it is processed by AI to extract the sender number and message text only. Screenshots are not stored on our servers and are deleted within 7 days.

What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, request, or store:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• Your home or mailing address
• Any account credentials or login information
• Cookies, tracking pixels, or device fingerprints
• IP addresses tied to your identity

Submissions are anonymous by design. We cannot identify who submitted a report.

How We Use the Data

The information submitted is used solely to:

• Build an evidence record documenting spam text campaigns targeting Phoenix metro residents
• Identify patterns in sending phone numbers, messaging, and timing
• Support outreach to wireless carriers and relevant authorities regarding potential TCPA violations

We do not sell, share, or monetize any submitted data. We do not use it for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data Storage

Submitted reports are stored securely in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database. Access is restricted to the project administrators at Clearlight Studios. Data is retained for as long as it is relevant to the investigation.

Third Parties

We use Supabase for database hosting. Their privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.

When you upload a screenshot, image data is sent to Anthropic for processing. Anthropic's API is used solely to extract the sender number and message text. Image data is processed transiently and is not retained or used for model training. Anthropic's privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/privacy.

We do not integrate with any advertising, analytics, or social media platforms.
